Subspecies:Congo & Timneh
Posted 17 June 2010 - 01:41 AM
I'm flock leader to a Timneh, a Too, a Meyers, and a 5 week old Congo. Can I just say that having 4 birds is alot of work, still feeding my Meyers nightly and 4 times daily with my Congo. I haven't decided on a name yet and I don't know it's gender. Of course like many others, raising a Congo from a baby was always my dream and it's harder to choose a name for it than it was for my kids.
So, I just wanted to say hi and I'm looking forward to learning some things from everyone here!
Thanks for having me!

Welcome!
We're a little busy here, but not when compared to you, it seems. I think it's so much harder to choose a name because the sky's the limit and we don't have the government pressuring us to decide for the birth certificate.
Anyway, very glad you found us and I hope you enjoy the forums.

lol...thanks everyone. Yes, I'm busy. Four birds is alot. I didn't think it would be much different...I was wrong! We're good though. It's a little easier now that my wee one is getting bigger. I love all of my birds, but my new CAG has totally captured my every being! I love to watch him learn and grow. He loves me too and and he's truly filled that empty feeling of having raised a Grey from a baby.
Keep an eye out for pics!
